FAQ

Q:

Why do I need to send you my instrument?

A:

We can’t give you an accurate price for your instrument unless we’re physically holding it. Over time, we’ve learned that the only way to give you a fair price for your instrument is if we can inspect it in-person.

If you aren’t happy with the price we offer you, we’ll gladly send back your instrument free of charge.

Q:

How can I trust to ship my instrument to you?

A:

Our track record speaks for itself! We’ve been around for over 40 years- we’re not going anywhere! If you decide not to sell, we’ll ship your instrument right back on our dime.

Q:

How will I get paid for my instrument?

A:

If you decide to accept our offer, you will receive your money in whichever method you picked. We offer check-by-mail, wire, or PayPal.

Q:

How do I send you my instrument?

A:

If you’re familiar with shipping large musical instruments, you are welcome to pack it up securely and ship it to us. However, we strongly recommend that you take it to your closest UPS Store. They will pack it professionally and securely to ensure no damage happens in shipping. Keep your receipt and email it to us or include it in your shipping box. We’ll reimburse you for any packing and shipping fees.

Q:

What if I don’t want to take your offer on my instrument? How can I get my instrument back?

A:

If you don’t want to sell to us, we will pack your instrument up professionally and ship it back to you that same day. You won’t have to pay for shipping. It’s on us!

Q:

What if my instrument gets damaged in shipping?

A:

While we wish we could say that has never happened, very, very rarely it does… on the off chance your musical instrument gets damaged in shipping, we will fully reimburse you.

Q:

What do you do with my instrument?

A:

Once we receive your instrument, we inspect it for any damage or repairs that we can’t see just in pictures. When our inspection is done, we’ll send you an offer. If you decide to sell your instrument to us, we’ll either keep it as a collector’s piece or sell it to another instrument enthusiast.

Q:

What if I would like to donate my instrument?

A:

If your musical instrument isn’t worth a lot, or you would simply like to donate it, we offer that! We work with music teachers to redistribute functioning, donated instruments into the hands of underprivileged kids. We also work with musical instrument charities who redistribute instruments to children in need all over the world.
